When a New graphic designer starts his design work he gets confused what type of design he will create by Photoshop and what type of design he will create by the illustrator. Keep it in your mind that Photoshop is an image editing software and Illustrator is design based software. Photoshop is Raster graphics and illustrator is vector graphic. Now you must have to know, what is Raster graphics and what is vector graphics?!!? Don`t be afraid!! It is very easy to understand; I will explain it very simply and easily, let’s start…..

Raster graphics: Raster graphics are bitmaps. A bitmap is a grid of individual pixels that collectively compose an image. Raster graphics render images as a collection of countless tiny squares. Each square, or pixel, is coded in a specific hue or shade.
Vector Graphics: Vector graphics is the creation of digital images through a sequence of commands or mathematical statements that place lines and shapes in a given two-dimensional or three-dimensional space.
One characteristic of vector graphics is a very high resolution.
