VISITING CARD VS BUSINESS CARD            

Now a day’s Business card designing is very popular with the graphics designer. If a designer has a sharp and strong knowledge about on Business card he or she may build up his or her carrier as a business card designer, and it is very easy to learn this simple technique. Now I will discuss here some basic information about on business card that helps you when you create a business card.

Sometimes we get confused between Visiting card and Business card, now I will define this two-term VISITING CARD AND BUSINESS CARD

VISITING CARD

The concept of visiting card is very old, at least three centuries before, when people were used servant of royalties and aristocrats and handed over the footmen of royalties meant to inform about the entrance of their lord.  A visiting card is also called Calling card (not relate to the phone card). Normally a visiting card includes a specific person name and his contact information.

BUSINESS CARD

A Business card is similar to the visiting card. A business card typically contains more information than a visiting card because it represents a business. Normally a business card says about a person`s position in a company or business along with the details of products or maybe the services offered by the company. Business cards are meant to involve more customers and especially connected with the business meets and conference.

Now we have to keep it in our mind when we will create a card, is it a business card or is it a visiting card?!? When we will create a business card we must have to reflect the following subject; (sometimes it depends on business or company demand)

1)        Business name and type

2)        Customer`s class

3)        All information to contact easily. Etc.

TYPES: Physically there are two types of card

1)        Vertical and 2) Horizontal

 (Now a day out of these two types there are several types of card are available in the different marketplace, actually it` depend on your client demand.) 

SIZES:

USA Standard size is 3.5 inches by 2 inches

EU Standard size is 3.46 inches by 2.165 inches.

Micro Business card standard size is 1 inches by 3 inches

Square Business card Standard size is 2.25 inches by 2.25 inches

Folded Business card Standard size is 3.25 inches by 2 inches.
